The Adult Ministries at West Metro encompasses several age groups. Elective classes are offered at in addition to the regularly scheduled Sunday School and Wednesday night classes. The individual Sunday School classes plan their events within the class membership. We encourage you to visit each of the Adult Sunday School classes to decide which you feel more at home in. There are two large events throughout each year. The first is the "Freedom Celebration" which is held close to July 4th. It is a time in which we honor God's provision and blessings to our Nation. It is a great time of fellowship, fun for all ages and good food. The 2nd annual event is the "Fall Festival" in October. It is a family emphasis gathering for the church body as well as our local community. There are games, inflatables, live music, prizes and candy for the children, face painting, etc. for all to enjoy. You may also find sno cones, popcorn, cotton candy, hot dogs, etc. to mention a few. While it takes many people pulling together to have such a successful event, everyone has a great time for this day! We invite you to be a part of these celebrations. It is our desire at West Metro to connect with people and share in one another's lives. We are all God's children and part of His family! Come be a part of a growing, exciting time at West Metro! |
