We love to worship and celebrate our Lord and Savior at West Metro. The Worship and Creative Arts team desires to lead our church family and community in creative expressions of spirit-filled worship with excellence. The Worship and Creative Arts team is comprised of individuals who long to be transformed by the presence and work of God. We offer a place for believers to develop, utilize and lead in worship with the gifts God has given. The ministry involves music, dance, creative movement, art, and drama. Sanctuary Choir Performing various gospel and contemporary musical styles, the sanctuary choir serves as lead worshipers in the Sunday morning services. Additional ministry opportunities include special productions, community events and ministering at other churches. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30pm in the choir room. Worship Band The band is a gifted group of instrumentalists who give their time and talents in worship leadership. They are involved in our weekly worship services and some productions. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 8:40-9:40pm. Drama Skits and seasonal productions are some of the ways drama is used to vividly portray biblical principles and insights for life. Dance & Creative Movement Physical expressions of worship can enhance weekly worship celebrations and seasonal productions. There are ministry opportunities in the areas of dance and sign-language/creative movement. Media and Technology From sound, to lighting, to video - our worship experiences are greatly enhanced by the media team. Set Design & Stage Construction Seasonal productions depend on the creativity of many artists and builders in our church family. There are opportunities to design, paint, construct sets, build staging, and even moving and setup. |
